Considerations in Commercial Contracting: Abrupt termination of an established commercial relationship

Unlike in common law systems, where parties are allowed to terminate contractual relationships with little or no prior notice so long as the termination takes place in accordance with the terms of the parties’ contract, under French law, an established commercial relationship can only be terminated with adequate notice.
