DELCADE welcomes three new talents in M&A, construction & insurance litigation and corporate & restructuring

DELCADE is strengthening its teams with the arrival of three new members: Pauline Dupuy, counsel in corporate law and mergers & acquisitions, Diane Nyessi, associate in construction and insurance litigation, and Charlie Barbier, associate in corporate, litigation & restructuring.

These recruitments reflect DELCADE’s commitment to a long-term talent development policy: identifying high-potential profiles, supporting them in building their expertise and offering them an environment where genuine progression is possible. The firm chooses to invest both in experienced professionals — such as Pauline Dupuy, a counsel with more than 20 years of practice — and in the rising generation, with associates like Diane Nyessi and Charlie Barbier, whose rigorous and internationally minded backgrounds reflect a shared standard of excellence.

Pauline Dupuy, counsel in corporate law & mergers and acquisitions

With more than 20 years of experience gained within Bordeaux business law firms, Pauline Dupuy joins the team of Benoît Lafourcade and Kevin Poujol, partners at DELCADE, to advise the firm’s clients on their disposals, acquisitions and restructuring transactions.

She handles complex M&A, LBO/OBO and fundraising transactions for executives and investment funds: drafting and negotiating legal documentation (merger/contribution agreements, general meetings, etc.), letters of intent, share purchase agreements, liability guarantees, shareholders’ agreements, and the preparation and management of data rooms. She also advises her clients on all equity and capital restructuring transactions: capital increases and reductions, free share allocations, bond issues and other securities. Lastly, she handles the ongoing legal management of commercial and civil companies.

Before being admitted to the Bar, Pauline Dupuy worked for around ten years as an in-house counsel, notably within the Gascogne group, then in a business law firm — experience that enhances her ability to grasp her clients’ operational and strategic challenges. She then practised for more than 15 years within leading Bordeaux law firms, serving SME and mid-cap clients across a variety of sectors.

A graduate with a master’s degree in business law, a bachelor’s degree in art history and a postgraduate DESS in business administration from the University of Bordeaux, Pauline Dupuy has been a member of the Bordeaux Bar since 2011.

Diane Nyessi, associate in construction & insurance litigation

Diane Nyessi practises in construction and insurance litigation alongside Julie Piquet, partner.

Before joining the firm, she worked as an associate in real estate litigation within several French and international law firms. She also developed her expertise through internships, notably at the International Commercial Chamber of the Paris Court of Appeal, where she worked on a range of disputes.

Holding a Master 2 in Arbitration and International Trade from the University of Versailles – Paris Saclay, Diane Nyessi is also trained in mediation and negotiation, skills she put into practice during her experience at ENGIE as a legal counsel in charge of mediation.

Charlie Barbier, associate in corporate, litigation & restructuring

Charlie Barbier joined DELCADE in March 2026, within the team of Benoît Lafourcade and Kevin Poujol, partners. He practises in corporate law and business litigation, as well as in insolvency proceedings and restructuring transactions.

Holding a Master 2 in business law, he also earned an LL.M. in International and European Business Law from Trinity College Dublin. Before joining DELCADE, he completed several internships as a trainee lawyer, notably at French and Canadian law firms, as well as at a judicial administrators’ firm, where he developed a cross-disciplinary and international approach to business law.
