Julie Piquet

For the past 20 years, Julie has been active in construction law, industrial risks, and insurance law. She regularly acts on behalf of insurers, covering all types of construction insurance policies (Damage to Work, Non-Performing Builder, All Construction Site Risks, Civil and Professional Liabilities, Ten-Year Liability). She has solid experience in insurance issues, especially regarding the mobilization of insurance guarantees and the management of serial claims.

She also supports construction companies (subcontractors, project managers, technical inspectors, technical design offices, and project owners) at all stages of construction operations, both in advisory and litigation, before civil and administrative jurisdictions. Her expertise further extends to industrial risks, with particular competence in fires and the liability of maintainers. Julie is also frequently called upon in the drafting of insurance policies. She also defends Damage to Work experts when their liability is sought.

She holds a DESS in European legal studies (University of Tours) and a DEA in business law and economics (University Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne), Julie began her career in 2004 at HASCOET TRILLAT. After being promoted to partner in a previous firm where she handled high-stakes cases, particularly in insurance law and construction insurance, she created her own firm before joining DELCADE in March 2024.
