Partner - IT and distribution law
Lawyer to the Paris Bar since 2006, Olivier Hayat practised in a Parisian law firm specialising in IT and distribution law before joining the Intellectual Property – Media – New Technologies department of the NomoS law firm. In 2014, Olivier founded his law firm dedicated to digital and intellectual property law before joining DELCADE as a partner on October 1st, 2020.
He practises information technology law, both in counselling and litigation, and focus his expertise on IT project negotiations, personal data (RGPD compliance and assistance to CNIL control) and also intellectual property and communication law. He has a diversified clientele, from start-ups to large accounts, and in particular, on the client side, for recognised players in the luxury goods and press sectors and, on the service provider side, for integrators and advertising agencies.
Olivier has been distinguished in his fields of expertise by the Décideurs / Leaders League and BestLawyers rankings. Outside the firm, he runs legal training courses in these areas with incubators and is a lecturer in digital law at the University of Paris-Diderot (Paris VII).
He is a member of professional associations such as AFCDP, the French Association of Personal Data Protection Correspondents, and AIJA, the International Association of Young Lawyers.
Olivier holds a DESS (Master 2 Professional) in Internet Law in Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne) and a Master 2 Research in Communication Law in Paris II (Panthéon-Assas).
