Paris, 7th May 2021 – DELCADE, a French business law firm with offices in Paris, Bordeaux and Lille, is strengthening its labour and employment law practice with the arrival of Charlotte O’LEARY in the Paris team and Ophélie LAZARO in Bordeaux as Employment Partners.

A member of the Paris Bar since 2009, Charlotte O’LEARY practised for 10 years in business law firms (Normand & Associés, Toison & Associés) before setting up her own firm dedicated to employment law in 2018.

She advises on all aspects of employment law, both in terms of advice and litigation, and assists companies in their day-to-day management of individual and collective relations and during restructuring operations. Charlotte O’Leary has developed a deep expertise in social security law (litigation of inexcusable fault, disputes concerning work-related accidents/occupational diseases), in health and safety and in criminal labour law (obstruction of justice, discrimination, labour inspection). She also advises her clients on the prevention of psychosocial risks (RPS).

After starting out in 2009 in Paris and Bordeaux law firms, Ophélie LAZARO joined PwC law firm in 2011 as an associate in the employment department, where she practised labour law and social protection for 10 years before setting up her own firm.

Ophélie LAZARO practices in both advisory and litigation matters. Her field of expertise covers individual labour relations, in particular with regard to negotiating employment contracts, variable remuneration, delegations of power and intra-group labour relations. She also practices in the field of collective labour relations, in particular with regard to working hours, staff representation, collective bargaining, employee savings schemes and employee shareholding. Additionally, she assists companies in restructuring, compliance audits and social protection for managers. She is broadly experienced in all areas of labour and social security litigation.
